Invitation for the Buddha Day Celebration

Dear Sir/Madam:

Traditionally, May is the month that Buddhists mark significant events in the Buddha’s life including his birth and enlightenment. This year members of the local Buddhist communities have joined together to organize a special multi-ethnic and multi-denominational celebration. You are warmly invited to attend the upcoming second annual Buddha Day festivities. It is a chance to celebrate the Buddha’s life and teachings while raising awareness of the rich Buddhist cultural presence in the Waterloo region. The event will feature colourful Buddhist performances from members of our local community. It is an opportunity to gather in celebration and share our vibrant religious culture.

Place: Kitchener City Hall Rotunda
